KimQarz Privacy Policy

1. Information You Enter Into KimQarz

KimQarz allows you to enter and store information on your device. Depending on the features you use, this may include:

• Contact names
• Phone numbers
• Addresses
• Dates of birth
• Account numbers
• Notes and remarks
• Debt amounts and currencies
• Debt dates and due dates
• Payment amounts and payment dates
• Payment notes and remarks
• Your KimQarz profile name and phone number
• Your KimQarz profile account number

This information is entered by you and is used to provide the application's contact, debt, payment, profile, backup, restore, and reminder functionality.

2. Local Storage

KimQarz stores your contacts, debts, payments, and related application data locally on your Android device.

We do not operate a KimQarz account system or require you to create an online account to use the application's core features.

3. Backup and Restore

KimQarz provides an optional Backup & Restore feature.

When you create a backup, the App creates a KimQarz backup file containing the data necessary to restore your contacts, debts, payments, profile information, and notification settings.

Backup files are created at your request and are stored on your device in the Documents/KimQarz folder. You control where you keep, transfer, or delete these backup files.

Backup files may contain personal and financial information that you entered into KimQarz. You should protect backup files from unauthorized access.

4. Notifications

If you enable payment or due-date reminders, KimQarz uses Android's notification and scheduling functionality to provide reminders.

Notification preferences are stored as part of the application's settings. KimQarz does not use notifications to display advertising.

5. Firebase Analytics

KimQarz uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the App is used and to improve its functionality, reliability, and user experience.

Firebase Analytics may automatically collect information such as app usage events, app session information, application information, device-related information, and identifiers associated with the installation or analytics service.

Analytics information is used for purposes such as understanding application usage, measuring feature usage, identifying technical issues, and improving KimQarz.

We do not intentionally send the personal contact, debt, payment, address, account number, or other records that you enter into the KimQarz local database to Firebase Analytics.

Firebase processes analytics information as a service provider for Google Analytics for Firebase. Information collected through Firebase services is transmitted using encryption in transit.

6. Information We Do Not Sell

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not use your contacts, debts, payments, or other records stored in KimQarz for advertising purposes.

7. Third-Party Services

KimQarz uses Google Analytics for Firebase for application analytics. Firebase is operated by Google and is subject to Google's applicable terms and privacy practices.

KimQarz may also open external applications or web browsers when you choose to use links such as email, Telegram, Facebook, Instagram, or the Softromeda website. Information shared with those services is subject to the privacy policies of those respective services.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by KimQarz. Data transmitted by Firebase services is encrypted in transit.

Because KimQarz stores application records locally on your device, you are also responsible for protecting access to your device and protecting any backup files you create.

9. Data Retention

Data entered into KimQarz remains on your device until you delete it through the App, clear the application's data, uninstall the App, or otherwise remove the relevant data from the device.

Backup files remain wherever you have saved or transferred them until you delete those files.

Analytics information is retained and managed according to the applicable Firebase and Google Analytics configuration and retention settings.

10. Data Deletion

KimQarz does not require an online user account. Your locally stored application data can be removed by deleting the relevant records, clearing the application's data, or uninstalling the application.

Backup files created by KimQarz must be deleted separately from the locations where you have stored them.

11. Children's Privacy

KimQarz is not directed specifically toward children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through an online account system.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when KimQarz's functionality, services, or data practices change.

When changes are made, the updated policy will be published at the privacy policy address associated with KimQarz. The effective date at the beginning of this policy will indicate when the current version took effect.
